CNG Fiber Trade Europe S.r.l. has also decided to follow FSC-STD-40-004 and PEFC ITA 1002:2013 standards for the management of its products.

Thanks to FSC (Forest Stewardship Council®) certification, consumers have the guarantee that the product is made with material from forests that are managed correctly from an environmental, social and economic point of view.

The symbol therefore assures the end consumer that the wood used in the manufacture of the product meets high standards of environmental, social and economic protection of the forests.

PEFC™ (Programme for Endorsement of Forest Certification schemes), is the programme for recognising national forest certification schemes, and is based on a broad understanding of the stakeholders involved in the implementation of sustainable forest management at national and regional level.

The company therefore declares its commitment to avoid the trade and sourcing of wood and fibre belonging to the following categories:

– Illegally harvested wood;

– Wood harvested in violation of traditional and civil rights;

– Wood harvested from high conservation value forests;

– Wood harvested from forests converted to plantations or non-forest use;

– Wood from forests where genetically modified trees are planted.
